2024 was full of remarkable milestones for SAP Customer Experience, especially in the commerce space. So, as we settle into the new year, let’s take a moment to reflect on the achievements that made last year extraordinary.
SAP Customer Experience: Props from customers
2024 began with a bang when SAP Customer Experience solutions were rated highly in the G2 Spring 2024 report. G2, which analyzes peer-to-peer enterprise software reviews by customers, gave the SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, and SAP Service Cloud solutions top rankings in a wide range of categories.
Our recognition from G2 spans omnichannel commerce, order management, e-commerce platforms, CRM, customer self-service, and more.
We heard customers say they value SAP Commerce Cloud for its built-in features and scalability for B2B and B2C. One reviewer even called SAP Commerce Cloud a “scalable beast!”
You could say this validated our New Year’s resolutions from 2023—all the ways we focused on enhancing SAP Commerce Cloud for our customers. These included:
- Integrating commerce with ERP and supply chain solutions to enable a new level of demand forecasting and inventory management
- Connecting commerce and marketing capabilities to provide personalized promotions to customers
- Taking advantage of AI and other emerging technologies to power chatbots, personalized experiences, and much more
Later in the year, TrustRadius recognized our commitment to helping businesses deliver exceptional customer experiences. The 2024 TrustRadius Top Rated awarded SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, and SAP Service Cloud. TrustRadius calls out products that excel in capabilities, value for price, and customer relationship.
This wasn’t the first time SAP Customer Experience commerce, sales, and service solutions were recognized, but the successive awards underscore the trust and satisfaction we’ve worked so hard to earn from our customers. Rankings from G2 and TrustRadius are based on real feedback and reviews from the businesses that use our solutions. They also contribute to our placement in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce.
Winning big with analysts
The 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce marked the 10th time in a row that SAP Commerce Cloud was called a leader for the agility, speed, and stability the solution provides customers. SAP remains the only vendor consistently acknowledged as a Leader since 2014.
SAP Commerce Cloud was also named a leader the in the B2B and B2C digital commerce reports from IDC in 2024. We earned this recognition by listening to our customers and building capabilities that would help them fulfill their unique business needs. This included focusing on composable storefronts and microservices.
If you’re not familiar with peer-to-peer reviews like TrustRadius and G2, or if you don’t pay attention to the opinions of analysts such as Gartner and IDC, you might not see why this is such a big deal for SAP. Think of it this way: getting ranked by Gartner is our Oscars moment!
The combined recognition from customers and analysts is a lot like when an actor finally achieves EGOT status. That’s winning awards from all four major awards in the entertainment industry: the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.
A performer will put their all into a role and win the Academy Awards, but the best performers don’t do it for the awards. Neither do we. We do it for our customers.
