With over 22 years of experience at SAP, Monica Gassmann is a passionate sustainability leader and expert for the chemical industry and beyond. She holds a CPIM certification from APICS and a Design Thinking Coach certification from SAP, which enable her to apply creative and analytical approaches to solve complex problems and deliver value to customers and partners.

As the Global Head of Sustainability for Industries, she leads the go-to-market, portfolio planning, partner engagement, and customer journey for 25 industries, supporting them in achieving their sustainability goals and becoming carbon neutral. She works closely with C-level executives to help them define and execute their sustainable cloud strategy with SAP, leveraging cutting-edge solutions and best practices. She is driven by the mission of making a positive impact on the planet and society through technology and innovation.
