Stefan Engelhardt

Before joining SAP, Stefan worked as lecturer for geosciences at the University of Heidelberg and as head of energy consulting and customer service at Technische Werke Ludwigshafen AG. In 1997, he joined SAP, where he supported the specification and launch of its first industry solution for utilities as global product management specialist. Since then, he’s held various management positions within SAP’s Industry Business Unit Utilities and became Vice President in 2007. In that role, he initiated SAP’s engagement as a Smart Grid Solution provider and co-founded the AMI@SAP Lighthouse Council with key innovators from various utilities across the globe.
