Corporate life looks a lot different now than it did a couple years ago. More companies are embracing remote work long-term, and trying to navigate balancing business priorities with employee engagement from afar. Gen Z has entered the workforce with their trademark zeal, Millennials are adjusting to not being the youngest in the office anymore, and Gen X… wait. Is that a thing? Are those the people who call themselves the forgotten generation? Anyway…

But as the adage goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

It appears that as much as the mechanics of corporate life may change and evolve over time, some things never will. The highs come with plenty of lows: Annoying co-workers, daily drudgery, and self-doubt. Need proof?

Look no further than corporate life TikTok, where people share their experiences in the corporate world.

After some time away, it’s nice to be welcomed back with a serenade that shows how much you were missed.

At times, you feel 1000% confident in your abilities…

Of course, with everything going on in the world, it can feel weird to just keep plugging away at our jobs in the corporate world.

But at least companies are aware they should be addressing major crisis events at work?

For those who just entered corporate life in the past two years, things may not be quite like you expected.

A year+ of stay-at-home orders have changed meeting dynamics.

But we still live for the drama.

And still rely on our work friends, even from afar.

(Though when they name-check you in their OOO email, all bets are off.)

We still struggle with saying what we really want to say…

…but, working from home has introduced us to new methods of coping with big work feelings.

Yes, corporate life has changed in a lot of ways. But, some things never change – there’s one thing that we can all agree on:
At least there are always dogs.
